DTTDealer Title Trackerby Illinois Title Services

How it works

Five stages. One connected ownership cycle.

The Tracker keeps each stage attached to the same unit so that unresolved work stays visible from intake through final title perfection.

1

Start with a consistent record

Acquire the unit

  • VIN or serial and stock number
  • Condition, year, make, model, and unit type
  • Purchased date, seller, and source
  • Prior lienholder and payoff details
  • Acquisition documents and notes
2

Make ownership-document status explicit

Receive the title or MCO

  • Title or MCO received status and date
  • Title number, state, and document type
  • Prior lien and payoff resolution
  • Missing release or document exceptions
  • Supporting title images or files
3

Connect disposition to the original history

Record the sale

  • Sold or disposed status and date
  • Purchaser and destination details
  • Odometer and selling price
  • New lien assignment
  • Invoice, tax-return, and sale documents
4

Document each outgoing handoff

Ship the title packet

  • Documents included
  • Recipient type and destination
  • Mailing date and carrier
  • Tracking number and shipping label
  • Separate entries for additional shipments
5

Close the loop with evidence

Confirm title perfection

  • Perfection status and completion date
  • Follow-up notes and evidence
  • Aging or unresolved exception visibility
  • Management reporting and exports
  • Reviewable activity history where enabled
A record can move forward without hiding unfinished work.Shipment does not equal perfection. A received title does not automatically clear a prior lien. The workflow preserves both progress and exceptions.
